Natural oils are found in many products that condition or moisturize skin and hair and strengthen nails. We strive to use the best natural oils and butters to create our skin-pampering products. Here is a quick summary of seven great natural oils and what they can do for you.
Argan Oil (one of our most favorite oils!) Argan oil is sometimes called “liquid gold” because it is rich in antioxidants called polyphenols, said to fight the effects of aging. It also contains omega-3 fatty acids that can boost collegen growth and plump up skin. This wonderful oil is great for any skin type. It also conditions hair when lightly applied. It absorbs readily and does not feel greasy.
Marula The marula tree is native to South Africa and this rich, hydrating oil come from the fruit of the marula tree. It is rich in fatty acids that are good for dry skin and it absorbs quickly, without leaving skin greasy or shiny.
Chamomile and Peppermint Chamomile is relaxing as a delicious, soothing tea but chamomile oil can also calm your skin. It can reduce redness and irritation. Peppermint oil has the same skin-soothing properties as chamomile oil.
Coconut Coconut oil protects and moisturizes skin and is particularly soothing and restorative for dry, chapped skin.
Olive and Avocado These oils are not just for cooking! Olive oil has long been known as a secret to beautiful skin. Avocado has wonderful moisturizing properties. A few drops of these skin-loving oils can be applied directly to your skin and nails at night to give your beauty routine a boost.
